Issue 92.10

Just two days left — Take a moment and vote for JR and Loren as Social Influencers

Those in attendance at Market America's 2010 International Convention know that social media is becoming our primary means of connecting with individuals in real time. With this paradigm shift, prominent figures in the social media world have the capability of being some of the biggest influencers of our time.

Recently, FastCompany.com launched their 2010 Influence Project. This project is aimed at determining the most influential person online.

Market America's own JR Ridinger and Loren Ridinger have both been nominated as social influencers.

Take a moment and vote for them.

Hurry! Voting ends Aug. 15, 2010 at midnight EDT.

Remember, "You are more influential than you think!"

Are You Ready for
Market Philippines?

Market Philippines is ready for you — are you ready for Market Philippines? As Market America officially opens its sixth country with Market Philippines on Sept. 1, 2010, I hope you can join us in taking advantage of this incredible opportunity for additional ongoing income.  It is actually easier than you think, especially with a Plan of Action.

If you have already decided to build your UnFranchise® business in the Philippines, you may now log in to your UnFranchise Business Account, click 'International', and sign up your Global/Market Philippines UnFranchise. Simply pay your home country Subscription Fee and 200 BV to qualify your Global BDC.

If you are still hesitating, here is why you should consider building an UnFranchise business in the Philippines:

  1. You can increase your ongoing income by working smarter.
  2. You can leverage your current Filipino team members and their connections in the Philippines.
  3. Filipinos in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong can lead you to thousands of Filipinos in the Philippines and vice-versa.
  4. There are approximately 10 million Filipinos outside the Philippines and the majority of them are in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
  5. The remittance this year from abroad is estimated as $19B, which shows how overseas Filipinos support their respective families in the Philippines financially.
  6. Tax benefits — Enjoy the beauty of the Philippines and its 7,100 islands while building your business.
  7. There are approximately 98 million Filipinos and 95 percent of them speak or understand English, so prospecting is not hard.
  8. There will be UBPs and Trainings held at the Market Philippines Corporate Office to plug in prospects and show the state-of-the-art facility.
  9. You will become an expert from afar in the Philippines and prospecting will be easier for you.
  10. Around 40 percent of Filipinos are entrepreneurs.
  11. Approximately 17 million Filipinos can afford to purchase our products or become Customer Managers.
  12. Americans have a very strong influence in the Philippines, thus the Filipinos love American products.
  13. According to Philippine Direct Selling Association, the preferred products of the Filipinos are the following: personal care, home care, fragrances, makeup/cosmetics, nutritional supplements, intimate apparel and apparel/accessories, and those are pretty much what we sell.
  14. The Philippines has one of the fastest broadband penetrations in Asia, with now more than 25 percent and growing very strongly.
  15. The crime rate in the Philippines is at the lowest point since they started tracking it decades ago.

So, here is my recommended Plan of Action. If you have a large organization, make sure you go as deep as you can and identify every Filipino Customer Manager and get in contact with them to create a strategy. Encourage them to develop a names list, then, as a team, develop an approach and simply begin contacting their contacts by booking them up with all the UBPs, and trainings that we are conducting at the Philippine Office beginning Aug. 18, 2010. Please read the Market America Newsline from last week. It contains the pre-launch schedules.

If you don't have a lot of Filipino Customer Managers right now in your organization, you need to create a strategy to build up your possibilities. Remember a Filipino in your country can lead you to hundreds or thousands of Filipinos in the Philippines. You can find Filipinos at hospitals, doctors' offices and clinics; gyms and recreational areas; salons; at work; airports and rental car places; on social network sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc.; and at Chamber's Associations and schools. An approach like this should help you:

"Oh wow, are you originally from the Philippines? Am glad I found you; my company is actually expanding in the Philippines and we are looking for someone who can help us expand there. Can you help me identify a few people? If you can do that, we might be able to arrange something financially beneficial for you." If they ask what kind of business it is, simply say, "It is called The UnFranchise, have you heard of it? It is a new business concept that combines the features of Franchising, Internet, Social Media and Human Element."

If you are a Filipino Customer Manager, you need to take action now! You need to develop a well-thought-out approach and you should contact all your relatives, friends, former associates and former classmates right now. If you don't approach them right away, someone will and you will regret it forever. Remember, those who hesitate lose.

The slides that we used at the Market Philippines Coring and UBP, NDT, B5, & ECCT slides will be available via unfranchisetraining.com; therefore, please visit and check out the site as often as you can for an update.

On Aug. 3, 2010, the pre-launch meetings and trainings schedule at the Philippines Corporate office on Aug. 18 - Aug. 31 came out via Market America Newsline. Please take note that the meeting space at the Philippines office is limited, so it will be first come, first served. To reserve a seat or seats at any of the UBPs or trainings, please e-mail MP Sales Supervisor Ms Meds Baraquel at meds@marketphilippines.com.ph.

Let us make it happen! See you at the top.
