Post Convention Action Plan

Wow! Convention momentum is everywhere. The excitement is at an all-time high. Bigger, Better, Faster, Easier with an emphasis on Easier to merge the old with the new and take it to an entirely new level. This opens a new chapter of Market America's history and evolution. Every once in a while there is a time when everything comes together and this is it.

You are either in the wheelbarrow or not, and now is the deciding moment. There is a tidal wave of growth sweeping the country and you can ride it in on top. What should you do to get on top and ride it in?

FIRST: Use the invite tool to invite everyone on your contact list to get paid to shop and use a higher cashback offer as an extra incentive. You need to follow the simple steps. You can access this atmarketamerica.na4.acrobat.com. You can import the contact list on Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, and soon Outlook, or you can just cut and paste any list or address. Simply enter a customized message to your contacts (people you know in your address book). I suggest that you attach a higher cashback offer as an extra incentive. If they do not immediately respond in a day or two, follow up with a personalized e-mail message about how great it is and mention that there are no gimmicks, catches, or fees. Give examples of savings. Explain how they get .5 percent on everyone they invite on all of their future shopping forever. It can amount to thousands of dollars on top of your cashback savings! If you follow up with an e-mail and a call (remember — these people know you), your results will go up by 50 percent!

The average person knows 300 people from acquaintances, friends, relatives, work, school, neighbors, clubs, organizations, church, business, etc. Most people have the important ones in their electronic address book or contact list, and the names can be automatically imported. May I suggest that if you do not have the names in your contact list, now is time to get them in there, so make a list and get busy. The first step is for you to do it personally. If you do it, you will know how easy it is and be able to show your leaders and people. This needs to be done systematically down the lines of partnership in the MPCP.

The next step is to organize your leaders and organization. Set a meeting with your leaders and personally sponsored business partners. It can be a coring at your house, at their location, a conference call with everyone online, or a webinar. Give everyone the assignment of getting their contact list in advance. Actually walk through the process with everyone step by step in person or on the phone. NO EXCUSES. Do it now and get it done. Do not procrastinate.

It is important to be clear about this. You are doing people a favor. These are people you know. You are not asking them to do anything for you or to go out of their way. You are doing them a favor and giving them a gift. You are allowing them to be paid to shop and get CASH BACK and if you are smart, you will include them in a higher cashback offer where they are able to save 20 to 35 percent on something they really need or would benefit from. Then on top of that, they can invite people they know and receive .5 percent on all of their shopping on the future.

You can offer to show the Portal or give a tour to friends. You can tell them about how the comparison shopping, search, hot deals, and coupon codes save them lots of money and you can show them how. Ask them if they are shopping for anything now or in the near future — you will help them get the best deal; be their guide and show them how to do it. This really works if you will just do it!

If you have 100 people in your group (50 per leg), that would be 100 people inviting 100. Do it with the Invite Tool and import the list, as this makes it quick and simple. That is 10,000 people invited. One hundred people are on the average list, and in that the average person knows 300, getting the list to 100 is easy. If only 25 percent respond, you have 2,500 new customers in the group. If it increases to 50 percent, that's 5,000. Now why is this so important? It's not just that it is growing the business and easy (a magnet to literally attract customers and orders), but it automatically gives every Distributor and UFO the customers to meet the IBV requirements.

Now, think about it — if they already have the customers who are ordering and as a result, they already have met the requirements — the requirements are a no brainer. So if you or your people are not willing to do these — we do not want to hear about it! Anyone who will not do this is mentally constipated and does not want to grow or succeed, and therefore cannot be helped.

When we introduced the IBV requirements as part of the Prime the Pump Challenge, we had several initiatives that we were implementing to make it easier and a "slippery slope" so that there would be an increase in business and customers. It is all about growing the business and changing the behavior of your team to be Internet and One-to One marketers to take advantage of all the things the company is about. It's all about making it Bigger, Better, Faster, Easier.

Some of the programs and platforms we are doing to make this work took a little longer to implement than we expected, and then we discovered some things that were obstacles, so we took steps to eliminate them so no one could possibly have an excuse. We wanted you to have the advantage and benefit of those programs, so we relaxed the requirements until the eight initiatives or pumps were primed to make it very easy. Those eight initiatives will be in place before World Conference and as soon as they are, we will begin enforcing the IBV requirements.

But there is no excuse for a leader not to lead by example and do it now. Those who do meet the monthly IBV accrual requirements will be rewarded in two ways:

  1. They will be included in the Lead Generation Program and be eligible to receive customer and prospect leads from the lead rotation and the Cyber Recruiting Program.
  2. They will be eligible to receive the IBV Advertising Bonus Pool. I am guaranteeing a minimum of 1 million dollars in the pool that translates into 1,560,000 IBV the first year. We anticipate it being over 2 million in IBV. I will match any advertising revenue over 1 million dollar for dollar. The first quarter IBV Advertising Bonus Pool will have over 500,000. We will be tracking those who qualify for the Advertising Bonus Pool from October 4 to December 31, 2010. Everyone who satisfies the monthly IBV requirements each of those three months gets an equal share in the pool. From that point, you will be able to place the IBV where you want based upon current IBV placement regulations (it is encouraged to place the IBV in BDCs that are also meeting these requirements as an extra incentive). It will be divided amongst the qualifiers on a prorated basis. That would mean hundreds if not thousands of IBV placed down the organization acting as a stimulus. The activities that the IBV advertising bonus requires and tracks stimulates advertising dollars, as well as an increase in IBV values. It makes many people in a partnership line close to earning IBV checks and numerous others actually hitting checks.

So this is the time to mobilize and act now. Anyone who doesn't do it doesn't get it and is missing out, but they will still have the BV program as they always have. However, for now, until the eight initiatives or "pumps" listed below are primed, all someone needs to do to meet the IBV month-to-month accrual option is register for the IBV program with the IBV registration tool and do the same 10, 20, 30 IBV requirement that was already in place.

The original and current IBV requirements are as follows:

  1. Complete the IBV Getting Started Wizard.
  2. Do 10, 20, 30 IBV each month by your Q-date.
  3. Make $50 in personal purchases from Partner Stores by your monthly Q-date.
  4. Make 50 BV in sales from your Web Portal by your monthly Q-date.
  5. Sign up one new Preferred Customer who makes a BV order on your Portal by your three-month Q-date period (this criteria must be satisfied before an IBV commission check can be earned).

So, by meeting requirements 1-4 above:

  1. You will continue to receive leads from the lead generation program, i.e. leads from the Portal and other websites utilizing our SEO/SEM and performance marketing programs that will drive new leads.
  2. You will receive cyber searching and networking recruiting leads.
  3. You will meet the basic requirements for the Advertising Bonus.

We relaxed (not currently enforcing) the current IBV requirements to meet your IBV month-to-month accrual so current Distributors will only have to meet requirements #1 (wizard) and #2 (10, 20, 30) above.

We will put back in place the five requirements above sometime before World Conference when the below items are in place and humming.

The eight initiatives or pumps we are priming to make it Bigger, Better, Faster and Easier and to merge the new with the old:

  1. Online Shopping List Wizard is in place and running. This combines the old with the new. It allows you to show someone what they are shopping for or buy regularly and how much they will save. It doesn't cost them anything. They are able to transfer dollars they are already spending to the Portal and save money. The tool is a wizard that finds the product on the Portal and converts it into an order. They can even put it on auto-ship.
  2. Higher cashback program with more ma® product limited-time and limited-quantity deals made prominent for your customers to view under the Hot Deals tab, as well as special Partner Store deals like Back-to-School and weekly increased cashback promotions marketed and promulgated in the field. Plus, under the new Partner Stores area on your Portal, you can now easily click and view stores listed from highest cashback amount to lowest. This entices more people to jump onboard immediately.
  3. Getting more people in the field using the Invite Friends tool and inviting all their friends to their Portal. We are conducting a massive campaign and structured program to make this happen beginning with this e-mail and program.
  4. Social media and SEO/SEM campaigns kicking into high gear. (Distributors promoting their Portals, ma getting more leads using SEO/SEM and social media program rocking.)
  5. Create and put in place a program to convert more existing customers to shop from the Web Portal called the Client Privilege Program. The purpose of the Client Privilege Program is to take loyal, repeat customers who you serve face-to-face and incentivize them to shop on your portal for the ma products they love by offering:
    • Free or reduced shipping
    • Discounted retail prices
    • Percentage discounts of orders at a certain amount
    • Specific promo codes to be used on the portal for ma-products
    • Possible Flat fee shipping with pre paid membership concept
  6. Real-time or near-time assignment of IBV from Partner Stores. Imagine what this does for you. Plus you will receive an alert enabling you to strategically place the IBV like you do with BV.
  7. CRM tool working in conjunction with the lead generation program, pumping out a minimum number of leads. This increases the results by guiding and tracking what is done with a prospect, plus providing your organization hundreds of leads.
  8. Associate PC program humming thanks to customers using widgets, banner share, Invite Friends tool, etc. This allows you to get everyone not in Market America to sell products for you and to offer their people to get paid to shop while they earn the .5 percent on their invites while you get the customers and the BV or IBV!
