How Are You Programmed?

Our programming determines everything we say, think, and do. Ultimately, our programming determines our success or failure! Our programs are formed by repetition, and we act on the programs that are the strongest, whether they are right, wrong, good, bad, helpful or harmful. In order to create new mental programs, they must be repeated naturally and frequently. By listening to repeated positive new messages, we can replace the old negative programs. Every time a new message is repeated, the new neural pathways in the brain become stronger.

You have the ability to make ANY desired changes in your life (weight loss, personal finance, relationships, self-esteem, prospecting and recruiting, the Basic 5, etc.) by simply repeating the new programs often enough for them to become permanent. You simply need a way that is simple, doesn't take extra time, and doesn't require a change in your daily routine to do it. This is not magic. It is what the brain was designed to do in the first place. The difference is that you are making sure that you are receiving the programs for success and not surrendering to the negative reinforcement of the general public, society, friends and relatives. 'Reprogramming Your Brain For Success' by President & CEO JR Ridinger

Many people look at me today and think that I'm some sort of great leader. They focus on my current lifestyle and my level of success without really taking the time to understand where I came from or how I got here. The truth is I'm not a great leader — I'm a great follower. I followed successful people and duplicated their actions so well that I became the successful one. I followed what I believed in and who I believed in, until I found myself at the top. Even though I started by working with business plans that are inferior to our own System, I was successful because of my ability to duplicate the success of others.

Every day you should be identifying your own personal goals and asking yourself if you are achieving them. Most of us are programmed to think that "success" can only be achieved one way — on the 45-year plan. In corporate America, lots of people are working for the success of just a few individuals. They don't have the opportunity to achieve their dreams and meet their own goals, because they are too busy working for someone else's success.

Our business plan is completely different. We gain from each other's work, volume and sales. We succeed by helping others to succeed, and by building the business from event to event using the National Meeting, Training and Seminar System. The NMTSS is an essential part of our proven business plan, but it is not the only key to success.

In order to succeed, you have to understand what it takes to be an entrepreneur. To achieve your goals you have to program your mind the right way. Everyone is programmed to be exactly who they are, right now. Whether you are brilliantly successful or struggling with a corporate job, it is your mental programming that keeps you complacent in that role. People who are successful have become conditioned to surround themselves with successful people and duplicate their actions.

My brain is programmed for success, and I did it without having to find any extra time in my day. Three simple things happened to me that resulted in me becoming so successful:

1. I bought a ticket to an event, and then I sold tickets.
2. I listened to an audio every day until it became a habit.
3. I got out and I showed the plan as much as possible.

I used the power of audios to reprogram my way of thinking. I fed my mind with the knowledge of other accomplished individuals, saturating my brain with information on success — on what I wanted to become and what I wanted to achieve. It worked so well that I still listen to audios each and every day. They allow you to maximize your time. By using them, I accidentally discovered the art and power of duplication. It only takes 30 days for an action or thought process to become a habit. Listen to them yourself every day. You will motivate your team, and you are able to treat the problems that arise with appropriate, consistent and duplicatable solutions.
