Market America Forms IT "Dream Team"

Market America has hired Michael Brady as Chief Technology Officer and promoted David Pretzsch to Vice President of Management and Information Systems (MIS) and Eugene Wallace to Vice President of Project Management. These personnel moves are part of a strategic plan to further enhance the shopping experience on marketamerica.com, with many exciting new features being showcased at Market America’s Annual Convention, Aug. 6-8 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.

Brady, who was most recently the Chief Information Officer at LendingTree, LLC, where he was responsible for the technology and strategy for the company's various business groups, is responsible for establishing and executing technology strategy and solutions that support Market America's more than six million customers and 180,000 Customer Managers. Brady brings over 20 years of experience as a developer and an expertise in areas such as quality assurance, project management and best practices in development.

Pretzsch has been with Market America for 11 years and previously served as Director of MIS. As Vice President of MIS, Pretzsch is responsible for ensuring the appropriate technologies are in place and being properly utilized to support and maximize Market America's business model. Before joining Market America, Pretzsch worked in various IT project management roles in the medical management and retail chain fields.

Wallace, who previously served as the Executive Director of Project Management and has been with Market America for 10 years, is responsible for working with Market America's executive management team, business leaders, marketing, and IT resources in creating strategic technology solutions based on the company's business goals. Wallace is a 10-year veteran of the United States Navy and worked as an Applications Developer before joining Market America.

Market America's technological enhancements have played a major role in being ranked as one of the top online shopping sites by Internet Retailer and among North Carolina's fastest growing companies. Don't miss your chance to see what is coming next at Market America's Annual Convention as we continue to invest in technologies to make marketamerica.com the Ultimate Online Destination.
