These new trainings will be taught by Laura Laire, Director of Field Development and National Head Trainer for Motives by Loren Ridinger Cosmetics. Both trainings will be from 10-5 each day with a special trainer enrollment for those who meet the requirements to become a Motives Certified Trainer, following class on Monday from 5:30-7:30. Registration is required. Each day is priced at $50. Cost for the two-day and Motives Trainer Certification or Recertification is $100. MA Rewards Point Program Improvements

Starting January 1, 2009 there will be several improvements to the PC Point program:
- Preferred Customers will be awarded 2 PC Points per dollar spent on ma-branded products.
- Preferred Customers will be awarded 1 PC Point per dollar spent on Partner Store purchases.
- Personal PCs (i.e., Independent Distributors and/or PCs associated with a distributorship) will not be awarded PC Points for ma-branded or Partner Store product purchases.
These improvements are being put in place to help ensure consistent growth and an ongoing flow of BV and IBV for your business.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is a Preferred Customer?
A. A Preferred Customer is someone who registers on your Web Portal or who you have registered on your UnFranchise Business Account. This customer purchases Market America-branded products either directly from the Customer Manager or on the Web Portal and logs in to shop with Partner Stores on your Web Portal as well.
Q. What is a Personal Preferred Customer (Personal PC)?
A. A Personal PC is a registered customer who is also the Customer Manager or shares the same address as their Customer Manager. They shop on the Web Portal as well but cannot participate in the maRewards Program.
Q. How do I find a list of my Personal PCs?
A. Personal Preferred Customer list is located on your UnFranchise® Business Account, then click on My Account, then View Personal PCs.
Q. How does this change affect purchases prior to 1/1/09 from Partner Stores?
A. Points and IBV will be credited based on when the Partner Store purchase is confirmed at Market America.
Q. Will Personal PCs with a Market America Credit Card continue to earn PC Points?
A. No, Personal PCs will no longer earn PC Points for credit card usage; however, Distributors will continue to earn IBV.
Q. Will Independent Distributors PC Point funding bank still receive credit for Transfer Buying?
A. Yes, Manual Sales Entry receipts created for Preferred Customers (not including Personal PCs) for products from Transfer Buying will earn points.
Q. Will the 1% IBV reduction for the funding fee still be assessed on the IBV value for Partner Store Purchases?
A. Yes, except for those purchases made by Personal PCs.
Q. Do Personal PCs lose the PC Points they have earned previously?
A. No, they will still have them and can redeem them on the Web Portals.
In order to maintain Distributor status for 2009, Distributors who entered the business prior to Aug. 1, 2008 must complete an Annual Renewal form. To prevent any interruptions in your distributorship, all renewals and payments must be received at Market America's corporate headquarters by Feb. 28, 2009. The submission of an Annual Renewal is also a requirement if you have elected to be a Sales Representative with Market America. It is highly recommended that you use a trackable, overnight package to guarantee delivery by Feb. 28.
